YES, GONE ARE THE ARTS. :D

Imagine my relief when econs test ended, despite me rushing through my work and the scribblings I wrote. I swear I still think 45 minutes too short for an essay, hey they gave us 1 and a half hr for GP!

Needless to say, GP essay questions were boring. I was just scanning for the technology question, the one and only question I prepared for. & luckily the question was very straight forward. :) The comprehension was a terror, I'm prepared to flunk AQ as usual.

Results on ISP are really depressing, bleh, I promise to work harder this term! Steady ACE ACE ACE!

CHEMISTRY TMR! :D I haven't read a thing since I came home but its a science test and ms wong said if we studied it should be okay so :D cause I studied for my fav subject! Okay, shall not be complacent, :B

I was just looking through the things that Ms Ngbm uploaded for us for GP and I came across this question in the VJC 2005 Promotional Examinations General Paper Essay questions.

5. All weddings are happy. It is the living together afterward that causes all the trouble. What contributes to a happy marriage in today’s world?

Imagine my surprise when I saw this. It's a very interesting question (like the child adoption!) because it didn't ask about those boring common problems our society faces but rather shows a side of an uprising problem that involves things that cannot be defined, ie love and happiness. I for one, will most probably choose to do this question after my years of chick lit reading despite the lack of actual evidence and statistics.

If only tmr's paper has such interesting questions. I'm willing to flunk again just to express my views on such issues, as what happened to child adoption.

I can't wait for blocks to end, its only one more week! Slightly more than 24 hours before I'm in school taking the GP paper.

I don't understand why I'm studying for blocks the way I'm studying for EOYs last year when blocks is just 15% (HELLO, LESS THAN SIA!) and EOYs was a whooping 50%. -.-

Can't wait to say ohla to shopping and movies and spending time out!

LQR, NO RESEMBLANCE AT ALL! He does not look like a smurf!

So anyway, I've been quite successful today despite the distractions in the reading room and I managed to complete reading my biology notes till enzymes. Now all I left is dna replication, mitosis & meiosis and organisation of genomes. :D I'm so glad I left the reading room rather late because I don't feel like studying a thing now, hahahs.

Yes, they are distractionS (pls ignore qr and her tag, HAHAHA.) cause the door is really creaking like nobody's business and the chairs are noisy. Not forgetting the random sudden increase in noise level once in a while in the reading room. & Of course the people in the room play a part too. Like how they study. (HAHAH, I THINK QR ONLY YOU UDS THIS) & of course, the person sitting beside you and her colourful markers, hahahs.

Not going tomorrow though, cause there's no one to accompany me! :( JW, I doubt you wanna study in school & the soccer gang has soccer camp tmr! :/ I shall stay at home and force myself not to sleep once I lie on my bed with my notes. I'm still feeling okay even though I don't expect myself ace-ing the tests. It's just that I know I won't flunk so badly, well, I didn't mean econs and gp though. I haven't passed gp for god's sake. -.- & to think in order not to retain you have to pass gp, okay wow.

Time to go INTENSIVE.

So yes, the battle starts tmr. No matter how many times I've said previously about the lack of time and the need to be really into muggin', its all been useless because I still felt that I had the luxury to relax a little and chill. Not anymore though. So while a small part of me still hope that MOE will be nice and extend the holiday, a big part of me knows its time to stop procrastinating and stop hoping for things that have never happened before and go for it all.

Therefore, the first step in the battle will be the maths mock paper tmr. Yes, it sounds horrid, but not something avoidable. Followed by full fledged muggin' tmr till night. I'm thinking of doing that for the rest of the week. (P.S. Ms Low you want to stay till 9 on tues?)

I'm still aiming for Aces of course, although the hopes are low, because as the saying goes, "To get the best possible, you must aim for the impossible".

I'm just glad that all will end on faithful friday, that blocks is only going to last a week for us, unlike the poor J2s. Speaking of which, its quite scary to see seniors studying so hard and going mental about it, like Alfred (hahahs!), but at the same time, nice to know that everyone is aiming for the same goals together in the reading room.

So yes, I will not get distracted unnecessarily despite the numerous distractions in the reading room and aim to finish all my revision.

At least when I'm there I'm motivated to study when I see so many hardworking people around me. At home alone, I just roam around and eat and sleep and do nothing! :/ However, as always, I assure myself that ...

I'm bagging on that.

Well, other than being surprised at the fact that even chemistry can provide me no motivation, I've done nothing much pretty much except to go for a hair cut. Which I think many will be going O.O about since my last hair cut. HAHAHAHA. Let me assure you all that my fringe ain't bangs but if you had always liked the length and shape of my ponytail, be prepared. Cause its like 2 inches (hmm, or a lil more?) shorter than before and the shape ain't that really nice anymore, sadly. But I must say I feel lighter now although the haircut does make me think of myself last year.

I feel like camping at the reading room for the rest of next week from morning till night, anyone interested in embarking on this field trip with me? I promise it will be enriching, totally.

Holy cow, its 330 now, shall go freshen myself up and force some chemical bonding into my brains, before I regret about wasting time and what not.

Okay, a quickie before I go and bathe and start doing some work or something.

I swear my love for durian is way too overrrr, zzz! But nonetheless, I won't complain much because durian is the love!

There's less than 2 weeks before blocks, I'm really screwed. :( Frankly speaking, I somehow wish that swine flu will be worse and MOE declares that we have one more week of holidays or something. Pretty please?

I'm in no mood to go out at all, I'll just feel guilty not spending the time muggin' and what not. :( But zomg! Qr just told me rjt is coming to singapore on sunday! AHHHHH! Hello, my one and only chance to see him LIVE. I think I may end up going, we'll see. :B

Didn't want to go to school today but I had to, because of the video cam. I guess its okay since I read a little econs and chem? But its really a little. HOCKS AND SHORRORS. & my morning was spent stoning and surfing the net. Can't believe my brain is still in this monotonous mode even though I KNOW I DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME LEFT. zzzz! :(

Finally.

I would like to express my greatest gratitude to those who actually listened to me, understood what I was saying and said yes to my request. Especially to those who ended off with a thank you and a smile, I really appreciate it, especially since I was standing there for 4 hours, rain or shine. Of course, it doesn't matter how much you actually donated, the fact that you did is good enough.

No more "Morning, would you like to make a donation? Or you can choose to get a wristband for $2..."
No more talking until your lips turn dry and you badly need a drink.
No more standing there looking like you are talking to the air.
No more looking at blank/bitch/both faces when I speak.

It's not that I dread street sales or anything but I think my dearest fellow Singaporeans can be nicer by smiling even when they are rejecting me! :/

& I was quite pissed off today, which I really think I have the right to. How can anyone be late for half an hour and only smsed me about her being A LITTLE LATE after not appearing for 10 minutes?! Like wth, if you KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE LATE, WHY CAN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER. I totally rushed for nothing and I didn't eat a proper lunch because of that. AND YOU DON'T EVEN SOUND APOLOGETIC. WTH?! Like why should I be more worried about being late and while you can don't care at all?! & THIS ISN'T EVEN THE FIRST TIME. ITS THE THIRD TIME. MY DEAR, IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE CAN'T YOU TELL ME FIRST BEFORE I CALL/SMS/BOTH YOU?! FOR GOD SAKE, YOU ARE THE LEADER, NOT ME.

I cannot believe that just when I've decided to support Man Utd, C.Ronaldo had to go Real Madrid. Oh wow, 80 million pounds was all it took. Okay, fine, so its a large sum but the contract hasn't even ended! :/

Anyway, centad and pw meetings today were rather successful, I guess its okay to wake up at 6 once in a while during the hols.

Today is a totally netball day. Training in the morning, lunch together and then we spent the whole afternoon decorating our board which is really pretty now but its still under renovation. Hahahs. Although our training is a little hiong now, but I think its worth it, cause you reap what you sow. So seriously, after all these tedious strength training, we better become stronger and better! Shall not elaborate on the things we do, hahas. Just that my shirt was soaked till I couldn't find a dry spot to wipe my sweat.

I NEED MORE DISCIPLINE TO MUG FOR BLOCKS AND FINISH MY HOLIDAY HW. I SUCK. :( Let's hope I can put peer pressure to good use and be pressured by jw to mug more, hahahs.

I entered this phase and I know I'm reaching the end. I don't know why, but I fear even though I know its good for me, and you. Perhaps I've adapted or perhaps its become a habit, but whatever it is, things ain't the same anymore. Sadly, I no longer care.

FLAG THE FLEA!

Flag day + fleastyle!

My legs are a little tired from all those walking we did, but today was great! :D Everyone shopped and spent. So although we were grumbling a bit about how much we spent today, I think no one actually really mind the spendings, hahahs, cause it feels really good to spend, especially when you snap those deals and spaved.

Flag day from 9 to 1. It was tiring and I swear Orchard is spammed with people of other nationalities. I think cause its the maids' free day so they just come to Orchard early in the morning while the Singaporeans are still in bed snoring. Not much $ collected although selling the wristbands were fun, especially targetting families with kids that are attracted to the bright colours of the wristbands. Hahahs.

Shopped a little at PS and wisma after that. :D GSS IS THE BEST! Bought a pair of shorts for only $12.50 at cotton on, hahahs. Le and Jq bought clothes from there too! & me and jq saw this really really pretty heels at charles & keith that was like $30 off, all lace and girly but really pretty!

Then after yh and jw finished their pwm we went to clark quay, FLEASTYLE! Quite cool I guess, to look at the things that people were selling. Interesting things being sold and treasures being found, everyone bought something! Hahahas, epecially le and jq who spent like $25 there. I love what I found, bought a pair of damn cute shorts, brand new!, (I know, shorts again) for $6! It was going for $7 at first but I was standing there exclaiming how cute it is yet pondering over buying it cause I already bought a pair of shorts today and seeing that I was so keen, the owner just said $7 but $6 for you. How could I not get it! Met a few HC people there, in fact there were 2 groups of HCians selling their own stuff. & I saw this damn cool looking bracelet that was going for $10 but I didn't get it in the end. Hahahas.

I think flea markets are cool, I feel like going for another one again! (:

Or we can simply go shopping after flag day nxt week. :D

Went to school ytd, I wonder if you can call it holiday when I'm always going back to school during hols. Saturday was public speaking module, ytd was gym session + mugging maths, ltr I'll be in school discussing about centad, tmr and the day after maths lesson for 2 consecutive days and biology on thurs, chem on fri ... the list goes on. & much as I'm rambling now, the truth is, I like going back to school.

Hi-5 day on friday was rather fun, hahahs. Random yes, but its good to do supposedly weird things once in a while.

Movie marathon ltr on plus sleepover, woohoo!
